Pd/C-Based Sensor for Gas Sensing in Transformer Oil

The detection of dissolved gas in transformer oil is vital importance to diagnose the early fault and monitor security stability power systems. In this work, distinct Pd/C, Pd/C-R Pd/NC were synthesized evaluated. XRD XPS characterizations show that both Pd0 PdII are presented over surface carbon host for while poor gas-sensitive properties H2-reduced sample. High content cationic species by nitrogen doping Pd/NC. experimental results showed performances H2/CO/C2H2 gases facilitated developed material. This study can provide reference rapid diagnosis faulty transformers.
